Indians bat Angels 4-0

An Associated Press report shows how Cleveland lead past the Los Angeles Angels 4 to 0 in baseball.

CLEVELAND Jake Westbrook tossed his second shutout of the season to lead Cleveland past the Los Angeles Angels 4-to-0.

Westbrook scattered nine hits, all singles, in winning back-to-back starts for the first time since early April. He struck out seven, walked one and improved to 9-and-7.

Shin-Soo Choo had three hits and an R-B-I as the Indians snapped a four-game skid while ending the Angels' four-game winning streak. Victor Martinez also had three of the Indians' ten hits.

John Lackey is 10-and-8 following his second straight loss. He gave up three earned runs and nine hits in six innings.

The Angels are three games behind first-place Oakland in the A-L West.
